What started as a place to share stories about artists (and others) influencing culture around the world, has expanded into a small press.
Global Narrative began as a platform where artists (broadly defined) share what they do and where they’re from. In 2020, Global Narrative became a small independent publisher, with a global eye for artists with an interesting story to tell, or an interesting way of telling it. Global Narrative is interested in diverse stories by and about people traditionally on the margins.
Our first book will be published at the end of 2020.
A Note about Conversations
Our interviews have been edited for clarity and length, and sometimes translated. We've tried, as much as possible, to keep the essence of what the speaker said.

The Short Version (from our Head of Stories):
During a writing hiatus I realized how much I missed talking to artists about what they do—their quirky processes, how they summon inspiration. So, I found myself back on that writing/interviewing path, and that path converged with a love for travel. The two forged into Global Narrative, which in a way, is a travel blog that’s more about people than places.
